The Last Water Fountain

Hello fellow traveler! This walk is based on a Russian folktale called "Swan-Geese" or "Gusi-Lebedi." Masha's younger brother, Vanya, is taken by these magical birds who work for "Baba Yaga," or the witch living in the woods. It is up to you, Masha, to overcome obstacles and rescue your brother. Our walk combines mindfulness practices with folklore to create a meditative yet culture-infused experience.

This could be a chill, boring, fun, awkward walk, you can decide any adjective that you want to describe this walk after you walk it. You could choose to do this walk by yourself(the single-person immersive pathway) or grab a friend and do it with him/her(friends interactive pathway), or try both!

The University of Washington campus has been walked by many people through many years. Crumbling buildings stand beside those with paint still drying, and who knows how many footprints hide underneath the layers of soil and concrete. This walk will take you through time to explore a story of love and loss that lies just below the veil of our world. Begin on the Northeastern-most end of the quad -- between the art and music buildings -- and walk through the quad towards Red Square. For the fullest experience, this walk should be done during Suzzallo Library hours.

Uh oh! The police think you've robbed a bank and stole a diamond, and now you're on the run! Better move those legs, or else you might get arrested! This run starts in front of Hutchinson Hall and ends with Red Square.
