RE:meander is een virtuele klankinstallatie door Joris Blanckaert, in het kader van STROOM (Gent Festival) en Rivierpark Scheldevallei. RE:meander geeft akoestische ruimte aan de rivier, op plaatsen waar ze ooit vrij mocht meanderen. Neem smartphone, hoofdtelefoon en spring op de fiets om de echo's te vangen.

Een audiowandeling door Dorien de Wit, in Zundert, het geboortedorp van Van Gogh. Vincent schreef zijn broer Theo vele brieven vanaf de verschillende plekken waar hij woonde en werkte. Hij beschreef zijn uitzicht, deelde zijn gedachten en twijfels, schreef over zijn ontmoetingen en deed zijn broer uitgebreid verslag van zijn ontwikkelingen als schilder. De audiowandeling is geïnspireerd op deze brieven.

Part I of a Sonic Re-walk through an old industrial railway area in transformation. Recordings articulate interactions between environment, landscape and human and non human territorial demarcation over a longer period of time. A soundscape that represents the data layer interwoven with the urban landscape. A project by Rebekka Jochem and Felipe Fonseca Schmidt in collaboration with the sound artist Tim Courtyn.

In front of a door, onto the street, under the ground and back up again. The space between becomes a substance we only try to press through to get to the next layer. The rumble of the traffic carving their tracks through the city; the crunchy cracks in the pavement broken from pressure and old; the fletching sparkes and howling mass of noise that outruns its source and loops back when Simonis meets Elisabeth. This walk starts close to your body, when you are not even yet on your feet. It throws you in front of a noisy street with a festive name. You can walk now; a pair of steel sucks you between its groove and takes you under the surface of a big avenue with a royal name. You can still move and there is your chance to become a piece of bronze that sucks up the sounds like a dry sponge. When you hang from the edge of a bridge that is barely floating you can still jump or cling either way this walk will throw you into the between. You will balance your steps carefully on this crease of a city elongating and forming a border with a name used in many places. You will walk through the future into the past between the layers: here & present.

Bruxelles Dorado - Geluidswandeling door Lukas Anthierens. Het ontstaan van Brussel is te wijten aan een palingvisser en zijn schitterende ontdekking. In geen tijd groeide een moeras uit tot een metropool. Bruxelles Dorado gidst je door het gouden tijdperk van de stad, een stuk geschiedenis dat vaak vergeten wordt. Toch lijken de restanten van dat verleden nooit ver weg. De wandeling begint aan de achterkant van het KVS-gebouw. Doorheen het verhaal zijn er 5 referentiepunten, aangegeven met cirkels. Wanneer je een van deze stops bereikt, wacht je op het bijhorende geluid, alvorens verder te wandelen.
