room 20 ECHOES

Location: Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, Brussels-Capital, Belgium

Part II of a Sonic Re-walk through an old industrial railway area in transformation. Recordings articulate interactions between environment, landscape and human and non human territorial demarcation over a longer period of time. The Sonic Re-walk is part of a sonic cartography outlining the urban sound environment as a 'heterogeneous multiplicity' composed of a myriad of urban sound spaces with sound spheres that overlap, repel or reinforce each other.
